I would use Eclipse. It will be included in SAP's WAS 6.30

Kind regards

Hi,

ok, I found eclipse now (was quite easy). It is a great IDE, especially as it is for free :-), so thanks a lot for this great hint. But another question: Will eclipse be integrated as is in the development workbench of WAS6.30? Is it then possible to develop Java in R/3? Thanks a lot again and merry Xmas.

Eclipse is the foundation for a Java development infrastructure to build, to deploy and to transport Java coding.
Java will be, next to ABAP, the second development platform within the SAP system.

Best regards
