default line length in abap editor

Hello,

The abap editor default line length is 72 however in SAP 4.7 we can change this setting in SE38 transaction by going into utilities ---> settings and under the abap editor tab we have the check box for the same.

The same does not exist in 4.6c. Can anyone let me know if this setting exists in 4.6c in a differrent place as the default length in 4.6c is 72.

In releases <= 4.6, you cannot change the line size.
